Tactile Enrichment

Tactile Enrichment is a series of fidget toys that focus on the sense of touch. The series consists of five cubes, each measuring 50 by 50 by 50 millimetres. Every cube is made from a single material: clay, leather, metal, wood or fabric. The same three dimensional pattern is applied to all five cubes, so the difference between materials can be felt by hand. Each material has a different weight, temperature and smell. The cubes can be held and played with while the eyes are busy and the hands are free. The intent is to reduce reliance on vision and give touch a larger role in daily experience.

Neuro X

Neuro X is a focus training toy for children aged five and over. The kit contains four N-blocks and one headband. The headband collects brainwave signals in a non-invasive way and sends them to the blocks through a wireless connection. Each block adjusts its internal electromagnets, so ferrofluid held in a water-based solution changes shape and rhythm. Stronger focus creates more dynamic and intricate forms. Blocks can be swapped to explore different difficulty levels. All parts are made from safe materials and are securely sealed.

B Is For Ball

B Is For Ball is a multifunctional baby toy that adapts to a child from infancy through later childhood. The toy is made of food grade silicone and measures 6.35 centimeters in diameter. A hollow, mushroom shaped body and a detachable weighted lid form a two part interlocking structure. The design serves as a teether, a rolling toy, a stacker and a water play object. Complete drainage and easy cleaning help prevent mold. The simple form supports grip, motor skills, sensory exploration and early learning.

Crabee

Crabee is a learning flotation device for children aged 3 to 9. Crabee is intended to reduce fear of water through interactive play. The modular shell is made of water-resistant foam and includes five rings of different diameters, so the conical body can be adjusted to the size of each child. Children can throw, catch and place the rings on the body. Two periscopes allow a view of the underwater world from the surface. Floating balls add a treasure hunt game. Children of different swimming abilities can play together.

Pocket Ninja

Pocket Ninja is a compact game designed for skill and dexterity training. The game measures 70 millimetres and fits in a pocket, so it can be used at home, in the gym or while travelling. Pocket Ninja arrives unassembled, and players build the game from the supplied pieces and the guide, like a three dimensional puzzle. The shaped grips support an exercise called DYNOs, in which the game is thrown and caught with two fingers while the grip is changed. The game is produced in Italy by injection moulding.

Bavvic

Bavvic is a set of creative building blocks for children. The wooden blocks are made from local beech left over from furniture and window production. Sensory silicone connectors interlock the blocks and allow abstract forms to be built. Each block measures 80 by 80 by 7.9 millimetres, and each connector measures 40 by 40 by 8.4 millimetres. The open-ended design supports cognitive and motor skills, spatial imagination, problem solving, decision making and creative thinking. Bavvic is intended to encourage learning through hands-on play for all ages.
