Tactile Enrichment

This design is a series of fidget toys based on five materials. It is intended for moments when the eyes are busy but the hands are free. Although the toys resemble cubes, they are not meant to be solved. Instead, they encourage casual, repetitive handling to reduce anxiety and improve focus. Each material offers different textures, temperatures, weights, smells, and even sounds when tapped. These sensory qualities are often overlooked when people rely mainly on vision. Overall, the design explores a new direction in universal design that does not center on sight.
