Drago

Drago is a collectible toy dragon made for display in interiors. Each figure is 75 millimetres tall and draws on the ancient Chinese dragon, a creature that combines traits of fish, snake and eagle. The collection includes six styles and twelve looks. Every piece is digitally modelled and printed in white PLA with layers of 0.1 millimetre. Airwood

Airwood is an assembly drone kit designed for children and adults. The four-axis drone uses a frame made of composite basswood board, cut into thin two-millimeter pieces by a laser cutter. Users assemble the wood boards and the electronic parts by hand to build both the drone and the remote control. Modular controllers, motors and batteries allow several frames and appearances to be created from one set. The drone supports indoor hovering, aerial photography and graphical programming. The certified wood reduces the use of plastic and metal.

The child guesses the emotion and checks the answer cards, then selects another Emobject that soothes it. Sight, touch and hearing are used to support emotion expression and control and to encourage communication.

Recipes and reactions are then rated and recorded. The game can be played with real food or purely through imagination, in solo, collaborative or competitive modes. No specific dishes are named, so players invent from the ground up. The compact box suits small hands and travel.

Six elements are used: straight and curved extensions, three axis and four axis nodes, links and caps. A small number of parts can encourage creativity and support spatial thinking and motor skills. Ambiguous printed symbols help children express emotions and build characters, because each symbol changes meaning with rotation and placement. Group play can also support social skills.
