Interview with Ayhan Guneri : Frank Scott: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?. Ayhan Guneri : Each space that will be animation, to show as if real, was the main principle. .Frank Scott: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?. Ayhan Guneri : The main purpose is that prepare an animation to make manager of restaurant known. .Frank Scott: What are your future plans for this award winning design?. Ayhan Guneri : Our future plan is improve our animation department ‘’pixel a studio‘’ . .Frank Scott: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?. Ayhan Guneri : All animation renderings were prepared in 800 hours render time and 10 days modelling period. .Frank Scott: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?. Ayhan Guneri : 5 It is an animation that supply the needs of our client. .Frank Scott: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?. Ayhan Guneri : The project is scheduled to enter service in 2014. .Frank Scott: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?. Ayhan Guneri : We were completed the project with our knowledge and experiences of animation. .Frank Scott: Who is the target customer for his design?. Ayhan Guneri : Investor of restaurant, architecture firm that design the project. .Frank Scott: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?. Ayhan Guneri : Mapping and lighting Technologies. .Frank Scott: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?. Ayhan Guneri : The name of the restaurant. .Frank Scott: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?. Ayhan Guneri : As 3Ds max, AutoCad, V-Ray programs and high capacity computers. .Frank Scott: What is the most unique aspect of your design?. Ayhan Guneri : Each space, stands as if alive. .Frank Scott: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?. Ayhan Guneri : We collaborate with supervisor of story board. .Frank Scott: What is the role of technology in this particular design?. Ayhan Guneri : Existence of animation owes technology. .Frank Scott: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?. Ayhan Guneri : Light and shade that in real spaces and accesories which were an effect as if experiencing, were analyzed. .Frank Scott: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?. Ayhan Guneri : Long render times and rendering of scenes to be too full. .Frank Scott: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?. Ayhan Guneri : Perceive that making a precious work inclusive of lots of animation, encourage us to take part in competition. .Frank Scott: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?. Ayhan Guneri : Each animation scene is a new experience for us. .Frank Scott: Any other things you would like to cover that have not been covered in these questions?.
